[US+UK] I was just crashing on the couch. Why do I want to be in my best friend's bed?

The whole idea had been for me to sleep on Justin's couch. A generous offer as I dealt with the aftermath of getting laid off, and one I was happy to take him up on.

When Justin floats the idea of sharing his bed instead, I laugh it off. Just a joke, right? But the idea sticks in my mind, and I can't shake it.
